Aisha has been an educator and school leader for nearly 25 years. She worked as a 7-12th grade social studies and history teacher in both the Baltimore and Philadelphia Public School Districts for eighteen years as well as a faculty Advisor, curriculum writer, and education coach. She also served as the Admissions Director at Project Learn School in Philadelphia from 2009-2019 before being promoted to Principal, a position she served in for four years before taking on her current role at Big Picture Philadelphia.

She holds her BA in Political Science and Africana Studies from the University of Pittsburgh and her Master of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Social Studies Education from Johns Hopkins University.
